Then they came for the trade unionists

And I did not speak out

Because I was not a trade unionist

Then they came for the people of color

And I did not speak out

Because I was not a person of color

Then they came for the LGBTA+'s

And I did not speak out

Because I was not a person who

identified with this group

Then they came for me

And there was no one left

To speak out for me

I’m from Indiana and now live in the UK. I am proud of the work you are doing. The people I grew up around were not cruel, and our small town has a wonderful immigrant community that enriches our town. We must not capitulate to fear and violence, by our President against his own citizens.
